I hope everyone had a great long weekend! I think we are finally into the fall weather, so when you come to the studio, dress in layers (actually a good idea all year round😉) and be sure to bring a clean pair of shoes for dancing, pleeeeease! And, it’s also the time of year when colds and flus become more present. On that note, please wear a mask if that resonates with you, we keep a full box around and if you feel unwell, please stay home and get better!

It’s a double dance weekend, yyyyyiiipppeee! Chris will be hosting Friday and he will be doing a Fun Foxtrot lesson and on Sunday I will be hosting and the lesson will be Back to Basics Cha Cha.

New courses start next week! Please, please register in advance to help us manage lead/follow ratio! Email, website or text!

If you are thinking of joining us in Cuba, please email me and I will send the details and if you are definitely coming, please contact the travel agent with your information. We have a good group going already and these vacations are always a blast!! The poster for the Cuba Dance-cation is posted below. If you are interested, booking needs to be done by October 17, 2023 to avoid the high surcharge (apologies for the last minute, it’s a learning curve for me and will get better each time!). We are going Thursday, December 7-14, 2023 and staying at the beautiful Sanctuary at Grand Memories in Varadero. Also keep in mind I am also planning a 10 or 14-day cruise leaving the last week of January or first week of February details will be done by end of October.

Some of you know that I have been training in CranioSacral Therapy (to find out what this is, click here). I have also been receiving this wonderful treatment for several years and have found it to be extremely beneficial for my health and well-being. I am looking for guinea people to practice on! Sooooo I will be opening some spots for that here and there. My first openings will be this Sunday, October 15 at 3pm and 4pm. Please let me know if you are interested and there is no charge, though donations are certainly welcome.

We’ve picked Friday, December 1, 2023 for the Winter Showcase. Event will start around 3pm, save the date!

If you haven’t already joined, we have started a WhatsApp (if you don’t have it, it’s a texting app that you can download) Dance 2 Live social group. This will allow for real time reminders of events and if you are going out somewhere and want everyone to know, you can message the group.
